Oasis and Knowles
The communities of Oasis and Knowles, New Mexico were located approximately
nine and one-half miles north of Hobbs and four miles west of the Texas state line.

2nd building was Dixie Young Musick's blacksmith's shop
3rd building was Mr. McArthur's Merchantile
4th building was the hotel
Buildings all moved south 1/2 mile in June 1908 and renamed Knowles"
